The consecration to celibacy is one of the most profound and significant moments in the Obra de Maria Catholic Community, marking the total surrender of members to the service of God and evangelization. During the ceremony, which is full of symbolism and prayer, the consecrated publicly assume their commitments, renewing their willingness to live fully and dedicated to the charism of the community.
Recently, Cleiton Amorim and Marina Nogueira took their final steps on this path, consecrating their lives to celibacy. Both, with many years of experience in the community, responded to God’s call with generosity, making the commitment to dedicate themselves fully to the mission of evangelization.
The rite of consecration included moments of deep prayer, the handing over of rings as a symbol of commitment and the public proclamation of vows. During the celebration, the participants reaffirmed that consecrated celibacy is a special vocation, which offers freedom and availability to serve the needs of evangelization more fully.
The ceremony was also an opportunity to renew the spirituality and purpose of the veteran celibates, who reaffirmed their vows with joy and enthusiasm. In a spirit of gratitude, the community praised God for these vocations, asking that new calls flourish within the Work of Mary.
This moment is a testimony to the power of divine love, which continues to inspire men and women to give their lives completely, living the gospel with courage and fidelity.
